Duties and Responsibilities

  • The main responsibilities of this position will be to manage VEBT international distributors in the LATAM territory.
  • Ensure all distributors are maximizing their time and effort to promote, sell and support VEBT products to reach established targets, ensure Regional Dealer sales personnel are trained in the proper use and effective techniques for standardized sales presentations and processes for all product groups, work with corporate sales and marketing departments to modify standardized presentations, marketing and promotional materials for use in different country specific markets, communicate on a day-to-day basis with the Senior Manager, International Sales, Senior Director, International Sales, in all sales matters and provide guidance for preparing bid and tender quotations, cost analyses and justifications and all other information that requires regular communication.
  • Develop and renew Distributor Agreements ensuring annual quotas and product focus are met
  • Meet guidelines and deadlines for Operational mechanisms including but not limited to; salesforce.com weekly updating, consistent use of Power Business Intelligence sales reporting tool to support business decisions, forecasting, calendar planning, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in business, science or clinical laboratory medicine with Diagnostics or Laboratory experience and training desired
  • 10+ years medical diagnostics industry related sales or clinical sales with 3+ years international distributor management experience and a proven track record of success and advancement.
  • The successful candidate shall be an energetic, effective, self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills who is able to excel in an international sales environment.
  • Must reside in an area with easy access to the territory; willingness to travel approximately 70%+ of the time on extended trips (1-2 weeks). Sales experience in POC testing, bedside glucose monitoring or Blood Gas systems.
