Supply Chain Director

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Acted as a point of contact to the suppliers and VEBT for all matters of the services contract updates, deal with pricing negotiations, business case creation, benefit realization, and invoice management
- Develop sourcing and negotiation strategies that deliver against business objectives and achieves sustainable relationships with suppliers
- Partners with Engineering, Program Team, Commodity Managers, and Suppliers to drive alignment with commodity strategies for supply base optimization and lowest total acquisition cost
- Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to effectively time phase material to service cash flow objectives and program schedules
- Develop forecasts for 6000+ SKUs utilizing historical demand, promotional plans, sales forecast, new product introductions, and product lifecycles
- Measures of success include new product introduction readiness, order line fill rate, working capital, total product cost/margins.
- Establish a process that manages changes to the schedule, quick identification of material shortages in collaboration with planning and materials management
- Work with design engineer for BoM scrubbing to ensure preferred vendor selection
- Support with the writing and revision of supply chain related Standard operations procedures (SOPs)

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering and 5+ years of related work experience in Supply Chain, Sales Operations, or Retail industry required.
Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. Additional language proficiencies are a plus.
