VEBT is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Professional with expertise in the continuous improvement and development of manufacturing methods for existing and new product lines.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous improvement action and new product/process development
  • Use statistical methods and mathematical calculations to determine optimum manufacturing processes, staffing and production standards.
  • Coordinate Quality Control objectives and production problem resolution to maximize production efficiency.
  • Design layout of equipment, materials and workspace to obtain maximum efficiency.
  • Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders and other related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures and activities.
  • Estimate production costs and effect improvements for management review, action and control.
  • Generate work instructions and provide necessary tools and equipment.
  • Coordinate operator training and quality activities as related to assembly.

Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Engineering Operations or related field is required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing processes
  • Proven ability and accomplishment toward increased though put, reduced operating expenses and inventory reduction.
  • Excellent math skills; especially in the statistical analysis of data, charting and graphing
  • Layout Design and Process Flow Analysis capabilities
  • Experience in working in a high volume manufacturing facility
  • Working knowledge of part drawings and models, blueprints and technical plans
  • Strong Quality Control background
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Principles, etc.
