Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and collaboratively plan and execute events ranging in size from small intimate dinners to large-scale events.
- Create production schedules and project timelines for events.
- Develop, manage and reconcile budget.
- Work with Event Project Manager to develop the plan for installation and build out of an event site, once an event is sold.
- Alongside the Event Project Manager create the inventory list for each event, source and management inventory.
- Oversee graphics collateral design and print management - must understand the graphics process and getting ideas from concept to completion – from designer to printer.
- Work with the legal department to review and revise event client contracts.
- Proposes new ideas and creative solutions to help streamline processes and implement policies and procedures as they relate to meetings and events
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
5+ years of related experience building relationships with industry partners and vendors; at least 8 years in the industry required.
Demonstrated expertise in project, events and exhibit management including a combination of small, medium and large-scale events, including pre-event planning, on-site event management, vendor management & negotiations, post-event reporting and budget management.
Proven experience with catering, hotels, venue management.
