Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform inventory counts which include RF cycle counting, location audits and recounts.
- Reviews and analyzes audit results and determines necessary adjustments and corrections to accounting systems, inventory software systems and physical inventory.
- Supervise inventory in Inventory Problem Bins to confirm and resolve issues with items. Determine if inventory can be corrected with a stock adjustment, put back to stock or if it is damaged or defective and must be written off. Identify product that is not labeled or not labeled correctly and properly label carton.
- Analyze inventory transactions to find shrink anomalies, resolve variances and work with external and internal customers for solutions.
- Organizes ongoing in-house and offsite inventory audits and physical inventory counts by scheduling either requested, randomly chosen, or routine audits / counts. Ensures all audits completed within the appropriate timeframe throughout the year.
- Directs the disposal and disposition of non-production related scrap both in-house and offsite.
- Drives and implements process improvements where necessary and assists in the improvement of internal controls related to inventory.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of related experience preferred.
Manufacturing experience preferred
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
