We are looking for a high functioning, detail-oriented professional who can juggle graduate courses, such as Strategic Leadership, Sustainability, Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Economics, International Business, as well as numerous special-topics courses.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Communicate scheduling details with parents, schools, community partners and Outreach staff daily.

- Assist families to assess situations, capabilities, and obstacles to determine what services are required to meet their needs, and then serve as their advocate or connect them with another advocate as they navigate the complex service systems to work toward their economic and child development/achievement goals.

- Design, propose, and implement programs/events/initiatives to increase community members’ sense of
belonging

- Building on families' needs and interests, facilitate dialogue between families, children, and childcare youth leaders to increase continuity and effectiveness of program experiences.

- Provide planning, implementation and support to families with children with special needs.

- Work collaboratively with the Outreach staff to design events and services to support children with special needs.

Qualifications

High School or Bachelor's degree

Previous special education services

Working or communicating with children with special needs
