Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports the facility director to ensure housekeeping team members understand expectations and standards for cleanliness outcomes and infection prevention techniques.
- Monitors operating budgets and conducts daily meetings and collaborates with the hospital administration to ensure customer and patient satisfaction.
- Executes and maintains daily quality control systems promoting patient safety and quality.
- Develops, trains and aids managers in the daily management of the EVS department by ensuring compliance with health, safety, the joint commission, OSHA, and industry regulatory agencies.
- Provides leadership for the housekeeping team for EVS operations including mitigating damages and liability issues.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and develops team member’s performance providing regular and timely assessment.
- Monitors and maintains operating budgets including payroll, supplies, equipment and hospital budgets.
- Rewards and recognizes for hourly team members encouraging team behavior and exceptional patient experiences.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required. Four-year college or associate degree preferred.
A minimum of two- five years experience is required.
