Production Supervisor

This position is responsible for maintaining and improving the manufacturing processes and making sure those processes meet or exceed internal and external customers’ expectations. The Process Engineer helps develop the plant’s product specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Tracks warehouse management performance and initiate corrective actions when required.
- Management of safety culture, programs, and initiatives.
- Report daily metrics on cycle counting to management team and propose solution for improvement.
- Applies Lean & 5S methodology
- Initiate projects to reduce waste, optimize productivity and improve quality
- Leads employees and manufacturing activities in partnership with manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams
- Assists with process improvements for Making, Packing, and Shipping (i.e., remove waste from the system and improve efficiencies).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Will consider 3+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment in lieu of a degree.
+3 years experience in related field
Requires experience managing people and performance metrics.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
