Senior Research Associate, Cell & Gene Therapy

We are looking for a high functioning, detail-oriented professional who can juggle graduate courses, such as Strategic Leadership, Sustainability, Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Economics, International Business, as well as numerous special-topics courses.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Work with team members to improve workflows for candidates' testing.

- Troubleshoot transfection/electroporation/transduction experiments.

- Perform in vitro (neuron primary cells and cell lines culture) and in vivo (mouse) studies utilizing DNA analysis software

- Write journal articles and patent applications.

- Train and mentor others in the lab.

- Read, analyze, and interpret scientific journals.

Qualifications

Master’s degree (required) and 5+ years of relevant experience

Demonstrated proficiency in gene editing techniques with CRISPR and gene delivery with transduction and transposition.

Experience troubleshooting transfection/electroporation/transduction techniques.
