Retail Stock Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure proper stock of products and that all items are in their appropriate locations.
• Maintain daily awareness of product needs; determine quantities required to adequately stock inventory.
• Manage inventory control, including receiving shipments, disposing outdated material, cycle counting.
• Processes any damages correctly and within a timely manner and with Store Managers approval.
• Maintains all organizational, cleanliness and recovery standards for the backroom area according to established company procedures.
• Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.

Qualifications

1-3+ years of experience of supervisory experience (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment)
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines
Previous experience with Excel or similar database management computer system required.
Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
