Job Description

The Program Manager – Supply Chain is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, governance, and successful delivery of multiple interrelated projects and programs within Clients supply chain and ecommerce portfolio. This role provides end-to-end ownership of large-scale client initiatives, including warehouse implementations, process optimization, system transformations, and technology innovation programs.

The Program Manager will ensure alignment between business objectives, technical delivery, timelines, budgets, and quality standards while providing leadership, mentorship, and direction to Project Managers. This role serves as the primary escalation point for complex issues and is accountable for program-level outcomes, stakeholder satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership and Delivery

  • Own and manage end-to-end delivery of multiple supply chain and logistics programs across clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure programs are delivered within approved scope, timelines, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Establish and maintain program governance, reporting, and cadence across all initiatives.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate program-level risks, dependencies, and constraints.
  • Ensure consistency in delivery methodology, documentation, and use of established tools and standards.

Team Management and Mentorship

  • Directly manage, mentor, and support two Project Managers, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Review project plans, schedules, and deliverables to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Provide guidance on complex project challenges and support effective decision-making.
  • Build and scale cross-functional teams based on program needs.

Stakeholder and Client Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders and internal leadership.
  • Establish clear communication and escalation paths across project teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Ensure transparency through regular program status updates, dashboards, and executive reporting.
  • Partner with business and technical leaders to align delivery with strategic goals.

Supply Chain and Technology Expertise

  • Apply deep supply chain and logistics knowledge to guide solution design and execution.
  • Oversee programs involving warehouse management systems, system integrations, infrastructure upgrades, and process transformation.
  • Collaborate with IT and business operations teams to translate business requirements into executable plans.

Continuous Improvement and Best Practices

  • Champion project and program management best practices across the organization.
  • Facilitate post-program and post-project lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure proper program documentation, knowledge transfer, and memorialization.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in project and program management with cross-functional IT and business teams.
  • Hands-on experience leading Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations and upgrades, including large-scale, multi-site deployments.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inbound and outbound flows, inventory management, and integration with upstream and downstream systems.
  • Prior experience managing and mentoring Project Managers required.
  • Strong background in supply chain, logistics, and warehouse operations, preferably in ecommerce or retail environments.
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously.
  • Strong expertise in project and program management tools, methodologies, and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced consulting environment.
