Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, the Finance and Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including entering journals, managing accounts receivable and payable, and other select finance-related administration.

Major Duties & Responsibilities


Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with PSAK and Bappebti regulations.
  • Ensure timely submission of financial reports to regulatory bodies (e.g., Bappebti, OJK, Bank Indonesia).
  • Maintain compliance with capital adequacy requirements (e.g., minimum paid-up capital and equity thresholds for SPA providers and participants).
  • Oversee financial risk exposure, including margin adequacy for open positions (e.g., 200% of initial margin as per Bappebti rules).
  • Collaborate with the Risk Management team to ensure compliance with margin calls and equity requirement.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Monitor daily liquidity and variation margin from trading
  • Oversee margin deposit flows ensure timely fulfillment of clearing obligations.
  • Manage bank reconciliations, fund transfers, and liquidity planning to support trading operations.

Audit & Internal Controls

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits and regulatory inspections by JFX, Bappebti, OJK or Bank Indonesia.
  • Manage and verify reimbursement claims, ensuring compliance with internal policies and supporting documentation.
  • Review, process, and monitor payment requests for operational and administrative expenses, coordinating with relevant departments for timely disbursement.
  • Maintain accurate records of outgoing payments and support monthly reconciliation and audit readiness.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure financial integrity and prevent fraud.

Member Liaison & Financial Coordination

  • Oversee generation of client financial statements, margin reports, and transaction summaries.
  • Liaise with WII participant members to coordinate the calculation of profit and loss (P&L) and applicable interest rates.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication of financial data to support settlement, reporting, and compliance processes.

Essential Qualifications

  • Accounting or business management (finance) degree
  • At least 5 years Finance experience, accounting and/orreporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) with expertise in Excel required.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Experience overseeing the annual audit.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations and payment procedures, including e[1]Bupot, e-Faktur, and monthly/annual tax reporting (e.g., PPh 21, PPh 23, PPN).
