About the job Fintech App Manager | CFD Trading
Our client is an international regulated financial services provider holding a Cyprus financial license and founded in 2022. The headquarters is in Hong Kong, with over 200 employees across Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. They provide a wide range of financial instruments (FX, Bullion, Commodity, and Crypto) for an international client base of individuals, institutions, and brokers.
Hong Kong is the regional hub for its APAC business operations, with a high level of strategic of business and manpower planning to achieve the business goal.
The App Manager to lead the strategy, growth, and performance of our mobile trading application. You will be the owner of the apps lifecycle from user acquisition and feature optimization to user retention and monetization. This role requires a strong understanding of the CFD, Forex, or cryptocurrency markets, deep insight into user behavior, and hands-on experience managing real-time data infrastructure and user-centric design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute growth strategies to drive user acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Own and manage app KPIs such as DAU/MAU, conversion rates, LTV, churn, and revenue.
- Lead ASO (App Store Optimization) and coordinate with digital marketing to maximize visibility and installs.
- Drive the profitability of the app through monetization strategies and cost management.
- Analyze performance metrics and customer behavior to inform investment and marketing decisions.
- Translate market trends and user feedback into actionable product improvements.
- Work cross-functionally with trading, support, and marketing teams to deliver high-impact features aligned with client needs.
- Conduct regular competitor benchmarking and market analysis to keep the product ahead.
- Manage end-to-end app design and user flow improvements based on analytics and feedback.
- Ensure real-time market data feeds (Forex, CFDs, Crypto) are accurately delivered within the app environment.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and engineers to maintain a seamless user experience.
- Use analytics tools (Firebase, Mixpanel, App Annie, etc.) to track app health and campaign effectiveness.
- Generate actionable insights and report to leadership regularly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mobile app management, UI/UX design, or app marketing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing app design and/or successful app growth campaigns.
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite) and prototyping software.
- Knowledge of user research, analytics tools (Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel), and app marketing platforms.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to think both creatively and strategically, balancing design excellence with business goals.
- Passion for delivering outstanding mobile experiences.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with cross-functional remote teams.
- Familiarity with mobile development basics (iOS/Android platforms).
- Background in digital marketing or performance marketing (preferred)
