Compensation: $109K - $136K (Based on Experience) + Bonus Eligible (Up to 15%)

What You Will Do:
As the Director, Purchased Services, you will lead strategic initiatives for the sourcing and negotiation of contracts within the Purchased Services space. You’ll develop and execute strategies that deliver industry-leading financial value to our HealthTrust members while managing key supplier relationships and overseeing complex contract negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead and execute multiple projects independently, managing timelines, deliverables, and ensuring quality contract terms are achieved.
Supplier & Category Knowledge: Develop strategies for each assigned service category and maintain in-depth knowledge of suppliers and market trends to create leverage and mitigate risks.
Contract Strategy Development & Negotiation: Formulate clear contract strategies, negotiate terms with suppliers, and work closely with senior leadership to ensure that the strategies meet organizational objectives and hedge against risks.
Sourcing Process Oversight: Oversee all aspects of the sourcing process, including market research, RFP development, supplier evaluations, and contract launch.
Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and key customer stakeholders (clinicians, executives, and supply chain professionals), ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the sourcing and contracting process.
Communication & Presentation: Develop and deliver dynamic presentations to senior executives and boards, effectively communicating negotiation strategies, contract terms, and project outcomes.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members, driving collaboration and ensuring alignment of resources to meet project goals.
What You Will Need:
- Experience:
7+ years of healthcare contracting, sourcing, and negotiation experience, with a focus on purchased services.
Proven ability to lead complex contract negotiations and manage large-scale sourcing projects.
- Skills:
Expertise in contract strategy development, financial analysis, and risk mitigation.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of the organization.
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
