Schedule: Full-Time Days (No Weekends)
Compensation: $104K - $130K (Based on Experience) + Bonus Eligible

What You Will Do:

As a Senior Contract Manager, Purchased Services, you will lead strategic initiatives to drive cost savings through effective contracting and sourcing for HealthTrust’s members. You will manage complex contracts and oversee the development and execution of national agreements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and financial value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Aggregated Sourcing Events: Lead and oversee multiple sourcing projects, from preparation and RFP development to contract negotiations and execution, ensuring successful outcomes for HealthTrust members.

  • Project Oversight: Guide contract analysts and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of contract goals, including projected savings and quality services.

  • Contract Negotiation & Strategy: Develop and execute contract strategies, negotiate terms with suppliers, and collaborate with Legal to finalize contract language.

  • Vendor Research & Evaluation: Research potential vendors, evaluate proposals, and manage the development of financial analyses to support contract recommendations.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Present contract strategies and financial analyses to various boards (nursing, respiratory, supply chain) and collaborate with members to ensure successful contract implementation.

  • Reporting & KPIs: Track project progress, manage reporting and analytics, and provide regular updates to leadership on the status of contract initiatives.

  • Training & Development: Train staff on new policies and processes to ensure the continued success of the contracting team.

What You Will Need:

  • Experience:
    • 5-7 years of experience in healthcare contracting, sourcing, and negotiating.

    • Proven track record in managing high-value contracts, with strong experience in contract negotiations and strategic sourcing.

  • Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills.

    • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex contract strategies to senior leadership and boards.

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree required.
