About the Role

JDS Energy & Mining is seeking a highly organized and proactive a site-based FIFO Site Administrator to support the Lupin Mine in Nunavut. The Site Administrator plays a key role in coordinating site administrative activities, including workforce logistics, travel, onboarding, document control, camp accommodations, procurement support, and communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to site leadership and project teams
  • Coordinate workforce travel, site access, accommodations, and mobilization logistics
  • Manage employee onboarding, orientation scheduling, and personnel documentation
  • Maintain personnel files, training records, certifications, and compliance documentation
  • Track workforce attendance and scheduling records
  • Support recruitment activities including interview scheduling and candidate logistics
  • Maintain camp occupancy records and coordinate room assignments
  • Prepare and distribute site communications, reports, and meeting minutes
  • Manage document control processes and maintain accurate site records
  • Support procurement activities including requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices
  • Coordinate site meetings and track action items
  • Assist with contractor administration and documentation
  • Support HSE and regulatory compliance through accurate reporting and record keeping
  • Track office supplies and administrative resources
  • Assist with weekly and monthly reporting
  • Coordinate charter flight manifests and workforce scheduling
  • Liaise with corporate departments (HR, Finance, Supply Chain, HSE)
  • Foster positive working relationships across site and corporate teams
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and project objectives

Package Details

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Office Administration, HR, or related field (asset)
  • 3–5 years of administrative experience in mining, construction, environmental, or industrial settings
  • Experience supporting field-based or environmental projects (asset)

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with workforce management systems, ERP, or document control platforms (asset)
  • Knowledge of travel coordination and workforce logistics
  • Strong understanding of document control and records management
