Location: Arnea, Greece (Fly-In/Fly-Out Rotation)

Oversee and manage all concrete-related activities on a major construction project in Arnea, Greece, operating on a fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) rotational schedule. Ensure concrete works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Coordinate with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the effective planning and execution of concrete construction activities.

Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, project specifications, quality requirements, and local construction standards.

Lead, mentor, and supervise field teams, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, quality, and continuous improvement while supporting successful project delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and supervise all concrete work on-site, including formwork, reinforcement, placing, and finishing.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other site supervisors to ensure alignment with project timelines and goals.

Review project specifications, blueprints, and work orders to ensure compliance with design and regulatory requirements.

Manage subcontractors and labor forces involved in concrete operations, ensuring high performance and accountability.

Ensure the correct ordering, delivery, and storage of materials, including concrete, reinforcement bars, and formwork components.

Monitor the quality of all concrete work, conducting inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and safety standards.

Lead safety meetings, enforce safe work practices, and ensure compliance with all safety protocols on the job site.

Troubleshoot issues on-site, proactively resolving problems related to material defects, equipment malfunctions, or unforeseen challenges.

Track and report project progress, documenting daily activities, materials used, and workforce deployment.

Coordinate concrete pours and manage logistics, including the timing of concrete trucks and work crews.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project management team.

Provide guidance and training to junior team members to ensure proper techniques and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Concrete Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role in construction.

Extensive knowledge of concrete mixing, forming, placing, and finishing techniques.

Strong understanding of construction safety protocols, regulations, and building codes.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate and motivate work crews.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations.

Effective communication skills for coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Proficiency in using construction management software and technology.

Familiarity with scheduling, project management, and budget tracking.

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.

Certifications in concrete technology, construction safety, or project management are a plus.
