Job Description:

The Ancillaries Support role provides essential operational assistance across engineering disciplines by coordinating the creation and management of technical documentationsuch as Scopes of Work (SOWs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests to Award (RTAs), and Sole Source Justifications (SSJs). This position supports estimation, trade-off analysis, and continuous improvement of design deliverables, all while reinforcing collaboration across engineering, procurement, and site operations.

Responsibilities:

Document & Procurement Support

  • Draft and manage SOWs, RFPs, RTAs, and SSJs for engineering and construction deliverables.
  • Ensure version control, consistent formatting, and accurate distribution of documents to stakeholders.

Estimation & Analysis

  • Develop and maintain trade-off studies and preliminary estimates using Excel.
  • Support cost-benefit comparisons for design options and scope alternatives.

Software & Tool Support

  • Assist engineering teams with basic workflows in CAD, MinePlan, or equivalent software.
  • Coordinate file management, templates, and standard libraries to enhance documentation quality.

Interdisciplinary Coordination

  • Liaise with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to capture scope changes, clarify documentation needs, and manage approvals.
  • Track document versions and updates, ensuring alignment with project schedules and scope changes.

Quality Assurance

  • Conduct routine checks on documentation for completeness, compliance with standards, and alignment with project requirements.
  • Initiate improvements to templates and document workflows.

Compensation

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with flexibility for hybrid remote work. Occasional travel or event attendance may be required.

Qualifications/Experience/Education Requirements

  • Diploma or university degree in Engineering, Drafting, or related technical field.
  • 3+ years in engineering support, technical coordination, or office-based documentation roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for estimation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MinePlan) is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of construction or mining project delivery and terminology.
