Our client specializes in cleaning, melting, and smoking cheese for various applications. At their new production facility in Lopik, they use a state-of-the-art machine park to deliver high-quality processed and smoked cheese to clients worldwide.
Qualifications and Skills
- Millwright trade test plus N4 Certificate
- Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and PLC controls.
- Proven technical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a production environment.
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in Afrikaans.
- Independent yet a team player, with decision-making abilities.
- Availability to work in a 2-shift system (6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.).
Key Responsibilities
- As a Maintenance Artisan/Millwright, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal technical performance of their advanced production lines and building-related installations.
- This includes maintenance and troubleshooting of systems such as water purification units, electrical generators, and high-pressure installations.
- You will work closely with the Technical Coordinator, collaborate with your team, and guide contractors during maintenance and repairs.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on complex machine lines.
- Optimize the technical condition of production lines and building installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions and deviations.
- Act as the main point of contact for contractors and supervise their work.
- Be available outside office hours for consultations, analyses, and emergencies.
