Position Summary
As the Sales & Marketing Manager at this company, you will be instrumental in driving business development and expanding our market presence in the Thailand region, with a specific focus on chemical products. This role involves exploring new opportunities, devising market strategies, and performing supply chain activities to ensure direct supply to end users.
You will collaborate with a global team, manage existing business relationships, and develop new business units across various product categories.
Job Description:
- Business Development: Focus on developing the business unit in the APAC region by exploring new market opportunities.
- Market Strategy: Devise and implement market strategies for both new and existing business units to optimize supply chain activities and target direct supply to end users.
- Market Evaluation: Regularly evaluate market research, conditions, and price assessments to adjust marketing plans and ensure effective merchandising strategies with the product team
- Supply Chain Management: Add more supply channels and develop product ranges to enhance APAC supply chain activities.
- Sales Activities: Supervise all sales activities, conduct regular meetings with potential customers and suppliers, and generate new sales opportunities.
- Procurement: Handle procurement from chemical manufacturing companies in Thailand and maintain business relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Market Insights: Provide market insights to support the sales of company products.
- Collaboration: Cooperate with global teams and clients across various countries to ensure cohesive business operations.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall growth and development of the Regional Team.
Job Requirement:
- Based in Bangkok, Thailand
- At least 4 - 5 years of experience in sales of chemicals
- Proficiency in English. Good knowledge of other foreign languages is an additional advantage
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering / Science, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, or equivalent or related subjects, extended knowledge about chemical products is an advantage
- Proven expertise in the chemical and or trading industry
- Experience in polymer, fertilizer, food additives, or scrap industry is preferred
- International exposure experience is also an additional advantage
- Willing to travel for business trips
