Financial Management
Oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial records, reports, and statements.
Manage the office's investment portfolio, ensuring alignment with the financial goals and risk tolerance.
Develop and implement financial strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, both locally and internationally.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel.
Operational Management:
Design and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Oversee day-to-day operations, including administrative functions and IT systems.
Manage relationships with service providers, including banks, and other financial institutions.
Ensure the security and integrity of the office's data and information systems.
Lead and manage the office team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Investment Oversight:
Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
Stay informed about market trends and economic developments that could impact the investments.
Prepare and present investment reports to the Directors and other stakeholders.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and investment risks.
Develop and implement robust internal controls and risk management practices.
Ensure the office's operations comply with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and operations, preferably within a
family office, investment firm, or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and risk management.
Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a small team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
Proficiency in financial software and IT systems.
