Looking for a Business Development Manager (e-commerce platform for Fashion/Beauty industry) for a client expanding its presence in the U.S.
About the Role
You will be a key member of the commercial team reporting directly to the COO. Your focus would be on offering a range of media advertising and digital marketing services to the right clients stakeholders (typically their e-commerce, digital marketing or PR teams)
- Identify areas of opportunities and understand the account, business needs, influencer marketing landscape, and metrics that may impact business decisions
- Own and develop merchant relationships, understanding their goals, strategies and expectations to ensure alignment at all times
- Lead and act as main POC through all sold initiatives with support of Account Management team
- Proactively assess, clarify and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis, reassess priorities where needed as demand fluctuates
- Work cross-functionally across internal teams to resolve issues that impact our business, our partners, our influencers and consumers
- Contribute to overall larger business objectives as it relates to new business and growth opportunities
- Demonstrate ability to build and scale processes and strategies to drive revenue for the business
Requirements
- Self-starter and passionate about growth
- A strong sense of ownership over your KPIs and sales funnel
- 2-4 years experience in professional media advertising sales, media agencies or influencer marketing (affiliate marketing is a plus)
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Strong rolodex of key fashion/ beauty/ lifestyle brand client level contacts
- Proven experience increasing year over year revenue as an individual contributor
- Familiarity with Sales B2B CRM solutions (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho, etc)
- Experience in a start-up environment and/or fashion / beauty / lifestyle industry is a big plus
- Proven experience in negotiating multi-million dollar contracts (highly preferred)
