Position Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate QA engineer for Platform Squad. The QA Engineer will be responsible for performing both manual and automated testing on our applications and platforms.

Job Description

Collaborate daily with the development and product teams to ensure to meet quality acceptance criteria.

Report bugs and errors to development teams and work with the development team to verify bugs and errors.

Provide ad-hoc support to the Business Unit. Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Workload Design, Test case design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management.

Expertise in Performance Testing tools using JMeter / Performance Center.

Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and necessarily follow up with Development and other cross-functional departments.

Whitebox testing

Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection and DB Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications.

Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis.

Publish results and receive appropriate signoff. Prepare detailed status reports and monitoring of all defects and issues.

Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problems in the application.

Participate in Performance bottleneck analysis and fixes Run and manage performance test campaigns.

Communicate progress and issues through regular Status Reports

Collaborate with Platform/ Application teams to improve system performance.

Perform functional testing, system testing, and integration testing of new features when required.

Design Performance Test Scripts for enterprise applications based on requirements.

Perform Performance Engineering & Performance Improvement activities.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, IT-related field, or equivalent experience

Minimum 4 Years of Relevant Experience in IT Performance Testing.

Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.

Experience in executing Benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other non-functional tests. Monitor application logs to determine system behavior.

Experience with Cross-platform testing, and responsive design testing.

Experience with load/performance testing using JMeter and other similar tools.

Experience with Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Exploratory and Ad-Hoc testing

Ability to do white box testing using programming languages including Java, JavaScript, etc.

Experience with bug reporting systems like Jira

Language Requirement: English (written and verbal)
