About Position
We are seeking a highly dedicated sales professional to drive business development
in South Korea. This opportunity is perfect for someone looking to
accelerate their professional career with a high-growth and revenue-expansion
portfolio, ultimately leading to a future leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the existing portfolio of B2B accounts and generate new business through diligent cross-selling and upselling.
- Explore opportunities for new sales/business development from new accounts, including developing business for AI-powered tools and solutions.
- Frequent field visits and in-person meetings are required.
- Regular communication with clients through emails.
- Build and manage high-level clients, strategic partnerships, and relationships with universities, research institutes, hospitals, Publishers, Pharma
- Companies etc to promote our academic editing, translation services, and AI solutions portfolio.
- Recruit and manage channel partners wherever required for business expansion.
- Involvement in strategy development and execution for the region, aligned with our organizational goals and targets, in close consultation with top management.
- Analyze and brief in-house departments (Marketing, Client Servicing, CRM, etc.) on market trends, business environment, govt. policies etc. that may affect the company's operations, sales, and overall revenue growth.
- Should be comfortable in dealing with Management level / senior level contacts in Academia (Universities/Research institutes) and non-Academia/Corporate domain on a regular basis.
- Should generate new leads through cold calls and emails. Should have exposure to Sales CRM.
Preferred Skills:
- Sales (High-value/Revenue)
