Summary

A global technology innovator is seeking a Test Architect & Automation Engineer to design, develop, and deploy automated test systems for next-generation control technologies. This hands-on role is critical to enhancing product quality, improving testing efficiency, and ensuring robust performance across a variety of embedded systems. As part of a highly collaborative team, you will work closely with engineering, IT, and product stakeholders to identify testing needs, close automation gaps, and drive continuous improvement in quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced test systems for embedded control technologies, including wireless networking
• Create simulation testing tools (e.g., fryer and oven simulators) to enhance automation and development workflows
• Test, tune, and optimize embedded controllers for real-world applications
• Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and testability
• Develop and execute detailed test plans and reports
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software interface issues
• Drive best practices in test strategy, validation, and quality assurance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems, test automation, or hardware validation
• Strong knowledge of control systems and embedded software (C, C++, Python)
• Ability to interpret schematics and debug integrated hardware/software systems
• Proven experience developing test programs and documentation for new hardware designs
• Understanding of quality development processes and engineering best practices
• Familiarity with wireless technologies and embedded simulations
