About the job Director - Investment Advisory
Our client is an independent investment and financial advisory firm dedicated to providing bespoke solutions to help their clients to grow and safeguard their wealth and assets.
They are seeking driven Investment Advisors at a Director level that will be responsible for educating clients on the different products and services available to help them best utilize their available funds and achieve important monetary goals. The job holders will be reporting directly to the Head of Advisory.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Meeting individually with clients to determine their financial objectives, risk tolerance, income, expenses and assets.
- Offering strategic advice on products and services.
- Performing market research to stay current with financial trends.
- Maintaining compliance with all rules and regulations in the financial industry.
- Monitor clients' portfolios actively for risk mitigation purposes.
- Relay the house view after assimilating information across various information sources.
- Work with Relationship Managers on investment ideas, articulate investment concepts, create investment proposals and conduct portfolio reviews.
- Participate as a member of the Investment & Risk Committee.
- Actively generate products solution and:
- Keep abreast of product and regulatory changes pertaining to investments and client suitability.
- Propose new product ideas.
- Promote ideas approved and endorsed by the Product council.
- Take collective responsibility and accountability for products discussed and endorsed at the Investment Committee.
- Develop, monitor and follow up on new trading ideas related to cash equities, bonds, FX as well as structured products under ELNs, KODAs/DEKODAs, equity options, range accrual notes.
Key Qualifications
- Good financial and stock market trading business knowledge.
- Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external partners and handle situations with confidence, tact and resourcefulness.
- A strong understanding of marketing concepts.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
- Strong analytical, innovative, problem solving and interpretative skills.
- Highly collaborative team player with the ability to build relationships with clients and multiple teams.
