This is a hands-on leadership role for a dynamic, technically deep professional who has evolved from full-stack development to solution architecture and now drives AI-first product and platform delivery.The job holder will lead a team of 25 engineers, architect innovative AI solutions, and ensure scalable, seamless integrations across multiple high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead AI Development
- Design and develop advanced AI solutions: deep learning, reinforcement learning, graph neural networks
- Implement NLP using spaCy, Hugging Face, Gen-AI APIs
- Architect and manage vector search systems (Weaviate, Pinecone, Milvus)
- Drive integration of Gen-AI (GPT, DALL-E, GANs)
- Apply models like BERT, T5, ViT in NLP and computer vision
Strategic & Technical Management
- Define AI tech roadmaps aligned with business goals
- Guide cloud-based architecture decisions
- Oversee resource allocation and delivery across multiple AI projects
- Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams for AI adoption
Build and Grow Talent
- Lead and grow a high-performing AI engineering team
- Mentor engineers, foster a culture of innovation and learning
- Drive recruitment and career development initiatives
Key Requirements & Skills
- Expert in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn
- Strong in vector DBs, similarity search, Gen-AI, reinforcement learning
- Experience with MLOps, big data (Spark, Kafka), and cloud/edge platforms
- 7+ years in AI/ML, with 3+ years managing teams
- Proven delivery of complex, enterprise-grade AI projects
- Strong stakeholder and project management skills
- Strategic thinking and a solution-driven mindset
- Passion for building future-ready teams and platforms
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Contributions to AI research or products
