Our client is a well-known large financial services organisation based in the UAE. They are looking to hire a Senior Manager of Marketing handling Strategic Projects & Initiatives.
Job Purpose
- To independently manage and drive marketing strategy for the assigned business areas within the entity and actively engage with key stakeholders in the business to ensure internal customer satisfaction by executing marketing campaigns as per the plans and objectives and drive media and other strategic initiatives to ensure ROI, brand recall and salience.
- To support by organizing market Data, performance data and business analytics to track Marketing strategies & initiatives.
- To Interact with all MCG DRs in an effective & collaborative manner.
- To support the Group Head in the management of Marketing & Comms Group with clear responsibility for Governance, Strategy, Business Analytics, Expense Management, & Communication
Key Result Areas
- Manage key marketing projects such as Ashriqi, Scru My Strategy, Employer Brand and various RBG projects and drive them to closure through effective project management skills in line with the required standards and track marketing budgets to ensure maximum return on the marketing dollar through effective negotiation skills.
- Proactively manage the marketing calendar for assigned customer accounts and reconcile actual activity versus planned activity.
- Ensure all SOPs are adhered to, from briefing to sign offs, budgeting to media planning and that all activities are traffic managed properly and implemented on time.
- Engage with key business stakeholders to understand their challenges and deliver marketing campaigns which meet their objectives ensuring seamless execution.
- Develop and manage the strategic marketing plan and associated marketing calendar for the new business.
- Oversee and manage all marketing related activities in assigned customer accounts, from planning, agency briefing, traffic management, review, managing internal approvals and production and develop media strategies and plans in co- ordination with the external media agency which are in- line with business objectives and budgets.
- Develop, oversee, and manage the l marketing strategy to achieve the business goals across all campaigns & initiatives.
- Assist & manage projects within the agreed timelines and processes to ensure successful roll-out.
- Develop & manage the social media strategy, enhance the design, content and conversion of the website and other digital tools of the company.
- Ensure all required approvals are in place from key stakeholders before commencing production as required and ensure the production quality and timelines are met to meet business requirements.
- Deliver a weekly status update to the head of the department and chief marketing officer, share data and statistics on campaign effectiveness, cost savings, quarterly media report, marketing spend data, competition tracking in line with the required standards.
- Work with approved external suppliers to deliver marketing activities as required ensuring maximum value for the marketing dollar spent by keeping an eye on costs as well as through effective negotiation.
- Manage relationships so that the performance of suppliers is of a standard that the organization would expect and accept, ensuring creative integrity is maintained and quality control is managed in briefing / debriefing and brand adherence.
- Monitor and control the advertising and promotion funds allocated to product programmes as required.
- Business: work closely with Product Managers to define marketing strategy for the segment and integrated marketing plans to achieve business targets
- Engage/influence all related internal stakeholders (e.g. frontline / sales, PR, Research, digital teams)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in banking products marketing, with a proven track record of building a brand and driving digital transformation.
- Deep understanding of technology trends, digital marketing, and business dynamics, including profitability and growth drivers.
- Experience in managing tech-related marketing projects, such as app launches, digital banking solutions, and data-driven campaigns.
- Entrepreneurial with a strong drive to succeed, committed, and results oriented.
- Innovative thinker with a passion for integrating technology into marketing, strong ideation skills, effective leadership, and attention to detail.
- Proficient in agile methodologies and project management, with experience overseeing complex, tech-focused campaigns from inception through execution.
- Proven ability to engage and influence cross-functional stakeholders, including tech and digital teams, to align on objectives and deliver cohesive projects.
- Track record of leveraging external tech agencies, digital partners, and alliance partnerships to drive outstanding, technology-centric campaigns.
- Hands-on experience in conceptualizing, developing, and executing technology-based marketing campaigns, including product launches, digital engagement initiatives, and omnichannel strategies.
