As a Total Rewards Manager, you will be responsible to lead the development and implementation of Total Rewards initiatives and talent programs. Identify and address gaps in processes and systems while designing tools to enhance talent attraction, retention, and development. Collaborate with stakeholders to create an integrated Total Rewards approach, gather feedback on program effectiveness, and propose improvements. Ensure that Total Rewards strategies align with business needs and HR plans, while supporting broader HR initiatives to ensure continuity and effective service delivery.
Core Responsibilities
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement our clients Total Reward strategy (compensation, benefits, and recognition) across all markets in alignment with the global business strategy and best practices
- Defines total rewards policies, procedures, and guidelines on pay reviews, promotions, and performance and proposes actions for standardization across all markets
- Collaborates with the HR Senior Leadership team, business leaders, and functional heads to identify opportunities to standardize the reward programs across functions
- Works with key stakeholders to design and implement variable pay schemes to drive business outcomes
- Works closely with the Recruitment team to ensure a clear understanding and implementation of the rewards program during the hiring process
- Performs analytical studies in a variety of compensations areas, such as internal and external equity, competitive pay practices and emerging trends
- Utilizes compensation surveys to determine trends and make recommendations to support retention strategy
- Directs the execution of our clients total rewards, mobility strategies, policies, and programs
- Interfaces with senior leaders to ensure that the overall Total Rewards strategy and all compensation and benefits programs align with and support our clients business strategies
- Ensures programs are performance-driven, market competitive, appropriately leveraged, legally compliant, accurately administered and effectively communicated
- Conducts periodic assessments of programs against slated objectives and recommends changes to maximize effectiveness
- Directs the base compensation program, including market competitive analysis, job descriptions and evaluations, pay increase strategies, manager and employee communications, and performance systems, and ensures that they are designed to support business strategy and are cost-effective while retaining, maintaining, and attracting talent
- Ensures the strategy for the management, development and administration of short- and long-term incentive plans motivate and retain key personnel and drive business objectives
- Ensures legal compliance, cost-effectiveness and effective communications to ensure legal compliance and understanding
- Leads the development, review and administration of incentive and bonus plans to drive employee performance in line with revenue and business objectives
- Ensures plans are market competitive, sustainable, legally sound and managed/administered accurately and effectively
- Monitors budget performance of compensation and benefit programs
- Directs variance analysis of actual results and recommends actions to senior leaders as appropriate
- Leads the financial modelling used in annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
- Directs pro-active research and analysis and proposes financial/business models to positively impact trends and business performance
- Identifies cost-saving and/or revenue enhancement opportunities
- Creates and distributes the plan of action when modifying compensation and benefits programs
- Leads a corporate culture to support employee retention and pride within the organization
- Directs, manages, develops, and oversees budget; ensures activities are appropriately funded, coordinated, and managed according to the guidelines/constraints of resource allocations.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., SHRM, CCP, or similar) is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in Total Rewards, compensation, and benefits management, with a proven track record in designing and implementing successful programs.
- Familiarity with industry standards and trends in compensation and benefits, preferably within the automobile sector.
- Proficiency in HRIS and analytics tools, as well as advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of relevant labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to compensation and benefits.
