Senior Manager - Legal

Our client is a family office based in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), United Arab Emirates focusing on managing and growing the family's wealth through strategic investments.

The Senior Manager Legal will provide comprehensive legal support to the Family Office and its portfolio of investee and associate companies, ensuring adherence to UAE/Global jurisdictions legal and regulatory frameworks. This role requires a sharp legal mind, excellent drafting and advisory skills, and a proactive approach to legal risk management, particularly in corporate structuring, investments, and compliance

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on matters relating to the Family Office and affiliated investment entities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and legal documents including shareholder agreements, NDAs, term sheets, and service agreements.
• Support legal structuring and execution of investment transactions, joint ventures, and M&A activity.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, including corporate governance, labour law, and financial regulations.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and coordinate legal actions, where required.
• Maintain accurate legal records and support risk mitigation strategies through preventive legal advice.
• Monitor regulatory developments relevant to the Family Office and advise management accordingly.
• Assist in resolving legal disputes and supporting litigation strategies where necessary.
• Provide ad hoc legal support to RAK-based real estate and development entities affiliated with the Family Office.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law Masters.
• 58 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house legal department of private equity / venture capital firm/ family office.
• Overall broad legal knowledge of UAE (corporate law, litigations, labour law, etc).
• Exposure to corporate, commercial, and investment law globally.
• Experience with venture capital, fund structuring, or M&A is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with family office structures in UAE/Jersey / BVI is desirable.
• Any with excellence Written & Spoken. English.
• Should be flexible to travel as and when required to various countries.

Note: This role requires mandatory relocation to Ras Al Khaimah.
