Position: Head IT

Reports to: CEO 

Job Objective

The purpose of the role is to lead IT function for one of the Business, reporting to CEO . The role shall be responsible for all technology developments and providing support to the SBUs. The incumbent will also be responsible for In-house Technology / Product developments by means of an Incubation cell

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities of the role

  • Lead and define Information Systems direction, vision, and strategy for the Business
  • Provide Technical and managerial leadership that is conducive to create an effective, high energy, cohesive team oriented towards highly productive environment
  • Evaluate and balance outsourcing operations in reference to the use of contractors versus developing internal capability to support the business from a technological point of view
  • Responsible for the development of all administrative processes including the evaluation and application of software and internet-based development tools and relational database technologies
  • Ensure through effective project management, that all development projects were completed on time and within budget
  • Responsible for Infrastructure Management. Ensure Infrastructure reliability, network & cloud security and availability for efficient business operations; optimizing IT investments
  • Ensure IT Scalability to drive business expansion plans
  • Implement mechanism for formulating IT spends (Budget & Actual) across Business. Responsible to manage actual spend on Information Technology within over all IT Budget
  • Delivering Quality IT Services, Ensure IT Governance, Risk Management and Compliance- Responsible for restructuring of IT organization
  • Create an overarching strategy to manage IT infrastructure needs of the Organization keeping in view concurrency & traffic
  • A single vision for SAP implementations & support
  • Implementing business applications (information systems) to add value to businesses
  • Maintain software licenses and ensure compliance to IP laws applicable to Raymond Group
  • Responsible for ITGC audits, SODs, conflicting roles identification & correction as per business guidelines and policy for segregation of duties
  • Performance and People Management- Responsible to identify the key areas and key resources to build a succession plan for risk mitigation
  • Define career path for key resources, conduct appraisals and motivate them to contribute to the best of their abilities
  • Manage technical & soft skill enhancement training programs for Internal IT team
