Role Summary:
The Human Resource Head will plan, lead, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the global organizations mission and talent strategy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organizations goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention and puts in place appropriate HR systems and processes to support the above for the 5 plants in India & 2 globally.
- Plays an effective Business Partner role to the Cluster General Manager, India and the Leadership team
- Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs in accordance with the global norms acceptable to parent company.
- Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, HR strategy development, manpower planning, PMS, Talent Review, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Conducts analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organizations human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
- Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
- Develops and implements HR departmental budget.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Age 35-40 years
- 15 +/- plus years of human resource management experience required
- Well versed in Plant HR/ Union management/ Industrial Relations
- Experienced in working with a MNC and liaising, collaborating with peers in global offices.
- Experience in the Manufacturing and/ or Packaging sector is strongly preferred
