Job Description

  • Involve | drive decision-making process by providing expertise in the fields of Finance, Accounting, Costing, Procurement, Dispatch, Stores and General Management
  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate Financial | Operations Analysis including Performance Planning & Reporting (MIS), including analysis of Fixed and Working Capital to control and to facilitate Strategic Business Decisions
  • Driving shareholder value creation by focusing on major clients, Sales Quotations | Contracts, Pricing, Purchase Contracts, Cost Estimations, New Business Initiatives, Industry Analysis, Competitors business analysis
  • Play an active role in the evaluation and decision-making process of existing and new business opportunities (capital expenditure | acquisitions | divestments)
  • To ensure all Accounting, Commercial functions of All India with 100% compliance to SAP
  • Costing: understanding and analysis of product costing-stating from BOM to final FG
  • Analytics: Analysis of all aspects of cost involved in plants and reporting to Unit Head in any exceptions. Must possess the intelligence to interpret the report.
  • Ensuring / monitoring | Reporting all expenses are within assigned budget
  • Compliance with corporate accounting policies and statutory Accounting Standards.
  • Compliance with statutory audit, cost audit, internal audit and tax audit regulations.
  • Provide timely periodical feedback to Corporate Finance Department of all relevant information for meeting Statutory / Management reporting deadlines
  • Negotiation skills: for vendor development and procurement
  • Lead cost control and cost reduction through inventory management
  • Manage systems and physical control over Main stores and scrap yard
  • Ensure on time ordering, cost effective Procurement & availability of materials as per the plan
  • To monitor all applicable statutory compliance by the Plants | Division
  • Monitor & review All India Manufacturing Cost
  • Review of Plant Commercial Heads on Profitability MIS 
  • Own Team review and management as per defined process | systems.
  • Lead in structuring, organizing and active participation in SBP | ABP planning process, providing strategic, financial and commercial support; being an effective member of the Divisional Management team in the achievement of the business plans
  • Drive negotiation as per plan in order to reduce purchase costs
  • Ensure regular evaluation of suppliers and development of new vendors
  • Ensure effective management of rate contracts
  • Finalize effective contracts for logistics with vendors | suppliers
