Minimum Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12
- Relevant qualification in Buying would be advantageous.
- 5-6 years Buying experience in a retail environment.
- Good understanding of Retail.
The successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

Responsibilities:
- Formulating a strategy for forthcoming season.
- Designing and building a balanced assortment and presenting to Executives and Directors.
- Brief suppliers and negotiate programs and fashion drops.
- Buy a balanced assortment according to the assortment sales plan.
- Constantly monitoring current trend to react to trade, then actioning the effects of both current and forthcoming buys.
- Analysing past seasons, strategizing for forthcoming seasons based off trend and sales and then presenting to managers.
- Consistent monitoring of competitor price points.
- Product sourcing and supplier sourcing.
- Store visits.
- Signing off of approvals/fits.
