Our client, a well-established manufacturing/distribution company within the flooring space, is looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking Senior Accountant to oversee all financial operations and drive long-term financial success. Reporting directly to the CEO, youll take the lead on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and industry regulations.

As the financial leader within the US region, this role will be responsibe for maintining the integrity of financial operations.   

What will you be doing on a week to week basis?

• Develop and implement financial policies and controls to optimize efficiency and minimze risk.
• Lead the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Partner with leadership  across departments on financial planning, investment decisions, and business strategy
• Utilize ERP systems ( Epicor) to streamline financial operations and reporting
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, reduce costs, and enhance financial processes

What are we looking for?

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Total of 5 years minimum experience with 2 years of experience as Controller or Sr. Accountant. 
• Strong knowledge of financial services principles and practices.
• Strong experience with Epicor or similar ERP system  is required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounts receivable management and account reconciliation techniques.
