Driver Helper

Location: Fords, NJ
Schedule: Monday-Friday 5am-3pm
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver Helper to assist delivery drivers with the transportation and delivery of frozen meat products. This position requires physical labor, heavy lifting, and the ability to work in a cold environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with loading and unloading frozen meat products.
• Deliver products to customers in a safe and professional manner.
• Lift, carry, and move products weighing 40–50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Verify deliveries and assist with order accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and work areas.
• Follow company safety procedures and delivery protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Perform other warehouse and delivery-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and carry 40–50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a cold environment handling frozen meat products.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the workday.
• Previous delivery, warehouse, or driver helper experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.

Work Environment

• Cold warehouse and refrigerated truck environment.
• Regular handling of frozen meat products.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and standing.
