Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Plant Sanitation Worker to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Plant Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our clients' facilities, ensuring they meet industry and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation tasks in designated areas of the plant, including production areas, restrooms, break rooms, and offices
• Follow established cleaning procedures and use approved cleaning agents and equipment to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation
• Remove and dispose of waste and debris from designated areas, following proper safety and disposal protocols
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any potential sanitation issues and report them to the supervisor
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• Assist with other tasks and projects as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a sanitation or janitorial role preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
