Position Summary

IWS Group is looking for a Hotel Housekeeper that is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms: make beds, change linens, replace towels, dust surfaces, vacuum carpets, and disinfect bathrooms.
  • Restock supplies: replenish toiletries, tissues, glasses, writing materials, and other room amenities.
  • Maintain public areas: clean lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairways, lounges, and conference rooms.
  • Laundry support: wash, dry, fold, and restock linens as needed (varies by hotel size).
  • Report issues: notify maintenance of broken fixtures, damaged furniture, or safety hazards; turn in lost-and-found items.
  • Follow safety protocols: use cleaning chemicals properly, follow sanitation standards, and comply with safety procedures.
  • Guest service: respond to guest requests such as extra towels or supplies promptly and professionally.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks
  • Prior housekeeping experience preferred, but not always required

Work Environment

Housekeepers typically work in guest rooms, hallways, laundry rooms, and public hotel spaces. The role may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, lifting up to 25–50 lbs, and working weekends or holidays depending on hotel occupancy.

Job Details

  • Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
  • Shift Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Dress Code: All black
