ESOL / Functional Skills English Tutor

Contract to start ASAP

Duration: 12 weeks with a possible extension.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality ESOL and/or Functional Skills English learning programmes.

Conduct learner interviews, initial assessments and diagnostic assessments.

Create inclusive and engaging learning environments where learners feel safe, supported and motivated.

Develop innovative learning resources and utilise digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning.

Monitor learner progress, provide timely and constructive feedback, and maintain accurate learner records.

Support learners with individual learning plans and progression opportunities.

Work collaboratively with curriculum managers and support teams to meet learner needs.

Contribute to quality improvement activities, course reviews, and curriculum development.

Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and British Values throughout teaching practice
