Responsibilities

The jobholder will be expected to complete the responsibilities and accountabilities effectively to deliver the key objectives of the organisation.

Manage and coordinate Education, Health and Care needs assessments and annual reviews in accordance with statutory requirements.

Deliver the Local Authority's statutory SEND functions proactively and within required timescales.

Act as the named officer for allocated children and young people and maintain effective communication with families, schools and professionals.

Provide clear and accurate advice and guidance regarding SEND processes and statutory requirements.

Produce and maintain high-quality, person-centred and legally compliant EHCPs and case records.

Respond professionally and sensitively to enquiries from families, schools and other stakeholders.

Contribute to service performance targets and promote high standards of customer service, equality, diversity and inclusion.
