Senior Programme Manager

Contract to start ASAP

Duration: 12 weeks with a possible extension.

Responsibilities:

Provide clear leadership on the development, delivery and monitoring of key strategic capital and grant programmes

Work pro-actively and closely with colleagues within the Divisional Management Team and across the organisation to identify, create and embed the necessary, sustainable changes in culture and practice to meet the strategic and transformational needs and aspirations of the Council.

Develop and maintain constructive relationships between the Council and other local authorities, central government, the business and industrial sector and principal community and voluntary organisations and agencies.

Lead the delivery of the Council's strategic regeneration priority programmes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and place-based strategies

Develop and maintain long-term regeneration programmes, business cases, and delivery plans

Embed sustainability, equality and social value within all workstreams, ensuring that asset and property interventions support wider environmental, social and economic outcomes.

Advise senior management and elected members on regeneration risks, opportunities, and performance.

Deputise for the Head of Property, Regeneration & Economic Development as required.
