Customer Advisor

Contract to start ASAP

Duration: 12 weeks with a possible extension.

Job Purpose

The post holder will deliver the core services of the public library service, relating with customers in a library setting, providing digital support to customers, supporting events and activities for all ages such as rhymetimes and basic IT sessions, while presenting a safe environment for children and vulnerable adults.

Have excellent communication and customer service skills to engage with customers and partners

Have good organisational skills

Have good ICT skills

Work effectively as part of a team and also independently using their own initiative

Have an enquiring mind, and an interest in books and reading is desirable

Be flexible in respect of working at multiple locations
