Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Administrator with expertise in Microsoft 365 administration to manage and support our company's IT infrastructure, user accounts, and security policies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering Microsoft 365 services, managing IT assets, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a secure and efficient IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 Administration:
Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune.
Configure and manage user accounts, licenses, and security policies in Microsoft ID (formerly Azure AD).
Ensure compliance with security policies, access controls, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Monitor email security, spam filtering, and data loss prevention (DLP) policies.
Manage Microsoft 365 Groups, Distribution Lists, and Shared Mailboxes.
Provide technical support for Microsoft 365 applications and troubleshoot issues.
IT Infrastructure & Support:
Manage and support Windows servers, desktops, and network devices.
Perform system updates, patches, and backups to ensure security and reliability.
Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
Maintain IT asset inventory, including software licenses and hardware records.
Implement and monitor IT security policies, including endpoint protection and data encryption.
User & Access Management:
Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts and permissions in Active Directory & Microsoft 365.
Manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and security settings.
Ensure proper role-based access control (RBAC) and compliance with company policies.
IT Security & Compliance:
Enforce IT security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM).
Implement and monitor endpoint security solutions (antivirus, firewall, SIEM monitoring).
Conduct security awareness training and educate users on cybersecurity threats.
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and company IT policies.
Cloud & Backup Management:
Administer Microsoft Azure for virtual machines, storage, and networking.
Implement and maintain cloud backup solutions for Microsoft 365 data.
Ensure business continuity by developing and testing disaster recovery plans.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Certification:
Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (required or must be obtained within 6 months).
Additional certifications (preferred):
Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)
ITIL Foundation (preferred but not required).
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
Experience with Microsoft Extra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and Group Policies.
Proficiency in Windows Server administration (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, GPO).
Understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls).
Experience with endpoint security solutions and compliance policies.
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
