Medior SAP Master Data Migration Consultant
Role Overview
We are looking for a Medior SAP Data Migration Consultant to support a large-scale migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. You will configure and operate SAP Data Services (SAP DS) for data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading into the S/4HANA migration environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and initialise SAP Data Services for data migration.
- Extract and integrate data from SAP ECC.
- Develop and maintain data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and enrichment rules.
- Perform data quality checks before and after transformation.
- Execute migration runs and verify data completeness and accuracy.
- Create reconciliation and validation reports using Excel, CSV, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Populate staging tables with transformed data for S/4HANA migration.
- Adjust transformation rules based on validation results.
- Document data flows, transformation rules, and technical processes.
- Monitor migration schedules and report risks or critical issues.
- Work closely with migration leads, functional consultants, SAP teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Suggest improvements to data migration processes and performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience with data manipulation tools / ETL.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with SAP Data Services (SAP DS).
- Proven experience with SAP ECC to S/4HANA data migration.
- Experience with end-to-end SAP data migration projects, including cutover and production migration.
- Strong knowledge of SAP DS extraction, integration, transformation, cleansing, and enrichment.
- Experience with data quality controls and reconciliation/validation reporting.
- Good understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA data structures, particularly FI, CO, PS, FM-BCS, MM, SD, PM, and HR.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- French: Fluent, written and spoken.
Assignment Details
- Location: Namur
- Start: September 2026
- Duration: September 2026 – March 2029
- Workload: 2 days/week until December 2026, then 4 days/week
- Working arrangement: Mainly on-site, with up to 1 remote day/week part-time and up to 2 remote days/week full-time
- Full on-site presence may be required during key phases such as testing, training, go-live, and post-go-live support.
