Senior ICT Manager

Location: Belgium (Hybrid – Onsite Presence Preferred)
Start Date: June 2026
Contract Duration: Until December 2026
Language Requirement: Dutch (CEFR C2)

We are looking for an experienced ICT Manager to lead and support a digitalization team during a strategic transformation period. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technology leader who combines strong operational management skills with deep infrastructure expertise.

As ICT Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuity of IT operations, managing ongoing digital transformation initiatives, and leading a team of ICT professionals in a dynamic public-sector environment.

Your Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day leadership and operational management of the ICT department

Lead and support a team of IT professionals, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery

Oversee ongoing digitalization and infrastructure projects

Ensure continuity, quality, and timely execution of ICT initiatives

Manage and optimize IT service management processes based on ITIL principles

Collaborate with business stakeholders and senior management

Monitor project progress, risks, resources, and deliverables

Support the organization's digital transformation roadmap

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Manager or leading IT teams within medium to large organizations

Minimum 10 years of experience in ICT Infrastructure Projects

Experience managing Microsoft 365 environments

Strong knowledge and practical experience with ITIL processes

Native-level Dutch proficiency (CEFR C2)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the operational management of an ICT organization

Experience leading and coaching multidisciplinary IT teams

Experience with network and infrastructure environments including:

  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Windows Servers
  • Hybrid Infrastructure

Technical background as a System Administrator

Experience working within local government or public-sector environments

Master's degree, preferably in ICT or a related field, complemented by management training
