Senior Test Specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Test Specialist to support the testing and quality assurance of large, business-critical applications. The role involves planning and executing functional and regression testing, test automation, and ensuring the quality of software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, execute, and follow up on test activities.
• Define test scenarios, test cases, and formal testing approaches.
• Perform functional, regression, and automated testing.
• Monitor software quality and support release validation.
• Collaborate closely with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Identify, document, and follow up on defects and test results.
• Contribute to improving testing processes and automation.
• Work independently and proactively in a quality-focused environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Test Specialist, preferably with large business-critical applications.
• Strong knowledge of formal testing methods and functional testing.
• Experience with test automation.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Xray is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Cypress, Ranorex, JSON, and C# is a plus.
• Experience with configuration using nested JSON files and building queries.
• Experience managing translations through configuration files.
• Knowledge of using AI for test design and/or test automation is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Dutch: CEFR C2/native-level proficiency.
