Job Overview

We are looking for a Medior Full-Stack .NET Developer to join a technical development team and contribute to the development, implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of secure and high-performing software applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with .NET, React, microservices, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, and Git, and will be comfortable working in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using .NET and React.
• Perform functional and technical analyses based on business and user requirements.
• Design solutions within a .NET and microservices architecture.
• Contribute to technology and framework selection.
• Develop and integrate APIs and microservices.
• Work with Azure DevOps within an Agile development environment.
• Use Git for source control and version management.
• Perform unit and integration testing.
• Apply application and API security best practices.
• Monitor application performance, stability, and reliability.
• Work with SQL Server for data management.
• Support data integration within microservices environments.
• Debug and resolve frontend and backend issues.
• Provide second-line application support.
• Proactively identify and prevent production issues.
• Contribute to improvements in architecture and development practices.
• Keep up to date with developments in the .NET and React ecosystems.
• Document code, APIs, architecture, and technical solutions.
• Share technical knowledge and best practices within the team.

Required Skills & Experience

• Approximately 2–3 years of professional development experience.
• Solid experience with .NET.
• Hands-on experience with React.
• Experience working with microservices.
• Knowledge of SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Git.
• Understanding of application and API security.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with application monitoring, preferably Application Insights.
• Experience with modern React state-management solutions such as Redux and/or Zustand.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong motivation, maturity, and willingness to learn.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Language

• Dutch or French: Native or bilingual proficiency.

Additional Requirements

• The position is fully onsite in Dessel, Belgium.
• Candidates should be able to commute to the Dessel site on a daily basis.
• A security clearance/authorisation or security screening may be required as part of the selection process.
• Candidates should indicate whether they or their company already hold the required security clearance.
