Junior Business Analyst

We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst to support IT initiatives within a complex technical environment, focusing on business analysis, requirements and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and document business and technical requirements.
• Map and document AS-IS and TO-BE processes.
• Identify tasks, dependencies, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation.
• Support the transition of solutions to operational/run teams.
• Prepare progress reports, decision logs and project documentation.
• Contribute to quality management and risk analysis.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, developers, data experts and business stakeholders.
• Support long-term solution design and integration initiatives.

Required Skills

• Experience in Business Analysis and/or IT project support.
• Experience working in complex IT environments, preferably the public sector.
• Knowledge of requirements management and process modelling.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and MS Visio or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of IT systems and technical environments.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools is an advantage.
• Experience with ANPR, camera or sensor technology is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Structured, proactive and detail-oriented approach.
• High level of discretion and reliability.

• Other national language: Strong passive knowledge
• English: Active knowledge

Location: Brussels
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, minimum 2 days/week onsite
Contract: Full-time, until end of 2026
