Confirmed Application Tester

We are looking for a Confirmed Application Tester to support the testing and quality assurance of critical IT applications and data flows.

Key Responsibilities

• Define test strategies, plans, scenarios and test scripts.
• Perform functional, technical, acceptance and regression testing.
• Execute and document tests, including re-testing after fixes.
• Identify, analyse and document defects and follow up on their resolution.
• Maintain automated testing and test tools.
• Prepare test progress and results reports.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, IT and security teams.
• Contribute to release notes, application documentation and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on software testing experience.
• Experience creating and documenting test plans, scenarios and scripts.
• Knowledge of automated testing and test tools.
• Understanding of test data and different test environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Methodical, accurate and detail-oriented approach.
• Good communication skills and a critical mindset.

Location: Brussels
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, minimum 2 days/week onsite
Contract: Part-time, approximately 50 working days
