About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join a major transformation project in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Basis Administration, SAP HANA and Oracle Database Administration, and hands-on experience delivering SAP migrations to cloud environments.

This role requires a technical expert capable of managing SAP landscapes, supporting cloud migration initiatives, and ensuring seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain SAP environments to ensure optimal system performance and availability.
• Lead and support SAP migration projects to cloud platforms for both SAP HANA and Oracle-based systems.
• Perform SAP installations, upgrades, patching, and system refresh activities.
• Manage and support SAP HANA and Oracle databases within complex enterprise landscapes.
• Configure and administer SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) replication solutions.
• Administer and maintain SAP Cloud Connector environments.
• Support integrations between SAP and non-SAP applications and platforms.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement performance improvements.
• Ensure system security, compliance, and adherence to SAP best practices.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and business teams throughout project lifecycles.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of hands-on SAP Basis Administration experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP HANA and Oracle Database Administration.
• Proven experience executing SAP migrations to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or other cloud platforms).
• Experience with SAP system installations, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • SAP SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation)
  • SAP Cloud Connector
  • SAP system monitoring and performance tuning
• Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex SAP landscapes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise SAP environments.
• Knowledge of SAP high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments and migration projects.
• Experience with automation and cloud-native SAP operations.

Language Requirements

One of the following language skills is highly desirable:

• Dutch
